We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.Job DescriptionService Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.Purpose of the Job:¨ To present training to BAS users in order to enable them to use the system effectively in the departments; and¨ To develop and maintain training material including lesson plans, learner guides, facilitator guides, workbooks and assessments for assigned areas.Main Responsibilities/Tasks:¨ Arranging training aids for training events i.e. data projector, flip charts etc;¨ Log request with LOGIK contact centre for training venue to be set-up;¨ Perform Bang-on test on training room after technical team configured the training venue according to checklist;¨ Ensure that workflow and security are set up for planned training;¨ Keep file of all-important training documentations e.g. Attendance register, Evaluation Questionnaire, latest copy of training schedule as well as latest release document that will have an impact on training;¨ Continuous improvement of own knowledge of the BAS System trough an organised training plan. Present training on the following BAS functional areas within 3 months:¨ General Principles of BAS;¨ Entities;¨ General Journals;¨ Sundry Payments;¨ Creditor Payments;¨ Budgets;¨ Financial Reports; and¨ Other areas will be assigned according to individual progress and growth. Personal development plan will be drafted with supervisor to master other functional areas.¨ Keep up to date with latest releases and incorporate changes in training material;¨ Conduct instructor led training sessions, workshops, financial background (T-accounts) and process training on the above functional areas;¨ Development and continuous improvement of training material according to project standards;¨ Report any problem during training to supervisor. For system related problems log requests with the LOGIK contact center and inform supervisor of request number. Take ownership of problem and follow up until resolved. Ensure that all requests are closed once resolved; and¨ Ensure an average training satisfaction rating of 4 out of 5 (80%).Administration Responsibilities:¨ Weekly administrative duties need to be performed:· completion of client attendance register;· turnaround accurately reflecting hours worked; and· status report to supervisor.¨ Bi-monthly administrative duties need to be performed:· time report reflecting hours worked.¨ Responsible to provide Training Team Leader with latest training statistics.Supervision Responsibilities:No supervision of resources is required.QualificationsEducation, Qualifications, Experience Necessary:¨ Tertiary qualification (finance and/or accounting subjects an advantage);¨ Appropriate and recognised formal instructor led training e.g. Certificate in Education, Training and Development Practice (ETDP);¨ Must be aware of the latest training methodologies and standards e.g. SAQA and NQF;¨ Minimum 2 years experience in a training environment; and¨ Candidates that have been in the employment of National or Provincial Government Departments will not be considered.Personality:¨ Professional in appearance and behaviour;¨ Must have good communication and listening skills;¨ Must be able to communicate clearly and understandably in English;¨ Must be able to work well with people at all levels of the organisation;¨ Must be able to consistently demonstrate tact, courtesy, reliability, and maturity while carrying out assigned duties;¨ Must be able to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions;¨ Must be able to work in a team environment;¨ Responsible and accountable for all actions;¨ Good organisational and time management skills; and¨ Perform well under pressure and be able to cope with short notice and tight deadlines.Knowledge and Skills:¨ Accounting skills (at least grade 12 or first year tertiary education in accounting and minimum of one year working experience in a financial division of an organisation).¨ Good understanding of financial processes e.g. budget cycle, debt management, payment cycle, revenue collection, month-end and financial year-end processes.¨ Strong problem solving ability.¨ Probing and good listening skills.¨ Ability to work independently, without constant supervision.¨ Ability to make decisions.¨ Good oral communication skills.¨ Good interpersonal skills.
