The Direct Account Manager will manage and grow revenue, and market share of the designated accounts whilst maximizing customer satisfaction and achieving Thomson Reuter's strategic objectives for the accounts under management.Responsibilities:The Direct Account Manager will be responsible for:· Driving revenue growth for a defined and particular set of accounts;· Developing and executing client strategy, while coordinating account activity to provide strong and consistent levels of service to particular accounts;· Providing service and support (in conjunction with On Demand and Client Specialists where appropriate) with the objective to maintain high retention levels and drive greater revenue growth from a specific client base;· Demonstrating products and closing deals remotely;· Maintaining senior level relationships within client firms, with the objective to further understand customer workflows, decision points, client intelligence and profile and ensure client requirements are matched by TR products and services;· Managing revenue;· Determining discretionary pricing for products;· Assisting customers with the strategic selection of products;· Pricing to ensure sustainability of the business;· Working with other internal TR functions to deliver stronger and more relevant value propositions;· Offering value add services;· Negotiating contract terms and release.Qualifications- University Degree in any related field, CFA Qualification would be a plus.- Previous Experience with Financial Markets and Services software and solutions- Understanding of market variations across geographies and the cultural issues that affect buying and consumer behavior.Required skills and competencies:- Financial institution or corporate account management and/or sales experience (remote sales experience is especially important);- Ability to understand client's business model, workflows, strategic objectives, pain points, and be able to provide solutions and products that meet expectations. Understand the particular market segment or relevant asset class implications and build this into the client offering.- Ability to drive the sales stage process to close, through opportunity building.- Ability to provide client base with market leading customer experience, from a remote basis.- Excellent communication, influencing, persuasion, negotiation and team working skills;- Strong customer focus mindset and high work ethic;- Fluency in English. Any additional European language would be a plus.- Ability to work in a multicultural environment whilst collaborating across boundaries;- Pro-active, self-motivated and self-starter individual who is eager to learn and has a keen perception;- Excellent financial market knowledge ideally combined with prior experience and knowledge of Thomson Reuters products and services - including CAS products;- Understand client asset class or business segments and have ability to engage at the correct level to influence purchase and usage growth of Thomson Reuters products and services.
